TESTWOOD ARTS at the MASTER BUILDER'S FUN WEEKEND 19th - 20th June

Four TAS members exhibit as the "TESTWOOD ARTS" GROUP: Ruth Edwards (President) Anne Hamerton (Chairman) Mary Maskell (Hon. Sec.) and Claire Palmer (Programme Manager).

See their exhibition on 19th & 20th June in the Chichester Room at the Master Builder's House Hotel at Buckler's Hard near Beaulieu, Hampshire SO42 7XB .

David White Demonstration in May

Professional artist David White gave a brilliant demonstration on how to go about painting dogs using acrylics. He demonstrated both a black and a brown newfoundland, showing how he achieved a striking animal portrait.

The advice flowed freely and finally he encouraged everyone not to give up, but to keep trying to paint.

Since he is so busy with commissions these days, we were very fortunate to have him with us again this year.

T.A.S. ARTISTS AT ELING TIDE MILL

Our local heritage site ELING TIDE MILL (pictured on the Totton Art Society home page) has work by T.A.S. artists for sale starting in June 2010.

The first works to go on sale are paintings by Harry Yearsley and Angie Macmillan.
