TRANQUIL SKETCHING AT ST. JOHN'S MARCHWOOD

  St. John's church in Marchwood, was our tranquil sketching venue in December.

 

The Christmas decorations were the work of local school pupils.

It was an appropriate venue for our last meeting before Christmas.

Many thanks to Sue for making it possible, despite the widespread water shortage!

TAS STALL IN TOTTON ARTISANS' MARKET

Sue and Helen had the idea for promoting Totton Art Society in

 Totton's December Artisan Market. 

The market is held monthly in Library Road Totton, next to the precinct. 

A small selection of artwork was on sale and there was some interest in joining the society.

Huge thanks to Sue and Helen for all the hard work involved in arranging it.

 Also thanks to those who helped to man the stall. 

PREPARING FOR CHRISTMAS IN DECEMBER

 

Some of us used our peaceful December afternoon to focus on art for Christmas.

Art afternoons are ideal for exploring new ideas. 

We sometimes paint something special for someone.

We enjoy painting with other artists who understand the challenges!
