Alan Langford gave an expert demonstration painting two heavy horses in watercolour at our April meeting. He completed the painting from scratch while describing his process and keeping us all entertained. His life has been devoted to illustrating and painting with horses being his passion.

INGENIOUS ARTISTS APRIL MEETING ONLINE
Helen, Betty, Tony and Di chatted online via Zoom. The theme of the month was CIRCLES.
Betty had painted a coastal scene with a circular island and a painting with circular leaves and flower spikes. Tony showed computer-generated spirals. Helen showed an art project in several formats: a large painting of a circular stone with a hole, a line drawing of the textures, a close-up painting of the textures, a stylised combination of ideas and a painting on fabric using dyes and wax. She intends to use the fabric as a studio curtain. Di showed a black and white design with 3 circles all inspired by glass objects.
