SORRY everyone! the workshops were on February 13th and are now on 27th.
Calshot is on the 12th.

WORKSHOPS ON 27TH FEBRUARY

The workshops postponed from February 14th will now take place on February 27th.


The "Inks" workshop will take place at a later date and is replaced by a session led by Mary Maskell on painting either a still life or a subject of your own choice in any medium. More details from Di.


Don't forget the Adventurous Artists are meeting at Calshot on Friday (February 13th).

INK AND COLLAGE WORKSHOPS

The next Adventurous Artists meeting will be at

Friday 12th Febuary 10.15 for 10.30 a.m. 

 We do not pay an entrance fee but we will have to pay car parking:

£2 for 2 hours and £3.50 for up to 4 hours.

 

Please telephone Di (07979905192) to enquire about lifts on or before Sunday 7th Feb. She will need time to arrange a pick up schedule.

 

 

Boutique Village Outing

Eight members came to the Boutique Village at Third Avenue Millbrook on 8th January  to sketch some of the items on display. It is a large industrial building  containing small exhibition compartments which are rented by different sellers. There are antiques, shabby chic home wares, clothing, crafts  and collectables - many displayed with great flair. The village traders  have a programme of activities over the next three months - including craft workshops.

 We enjoyed a natter in the cafe (they call it tea rooms in their brochure) for the last hour  and there was plenty of space to sit together. The group is now meeting regularly on the morning of the second Friday in the month, so the next outing will be at 10.30 a.m. on the 12th February.

Adventurous Artists

Happy New Year everyone!
Our first get-together for 2016 is the Sketching group on Friday, January 8th. We meet at the Boutique Village Craft Centre,Millbrook at 10-15 for 10-30am. There is a café for a chat afterwards but bring a stool to sit on for sketching!


Our next Demonstration is on January 27th. with Brionny Luxton who will show us how to be "Adventurous with Art"
