GREEN & PLEASANT LAND WORKSHOP WITH GAIL

"We had a fantastic painting day at Calmore, with such a wide range of green landscapes produced. Thank you to everyone who came, your willingness to have a go and share ideas is an inspiration." - Gail

"Looking forward to seeing your pictures displayed at the Eling Tide Mill Experience, either in the cafe or the summer exhibition."- Gail

JAMEL-STYLE PAINTING EVENING IN MAY

Everyone embraced the challenge at our 'Jamel-inspired' evening. Artist Jamel Akib had demonstrated at our April meeting, using simple colour shapes. High chroma oil colours were used for the centre of interest and desaturated colours for the background.

We enjoyed the challenge of painting in a different way.

We were pleased to welcome Caroline Rackham, Chair of Totton Council, who came to discuss the future of the arts in Totton with us.
